What does this mean when he does this?

Well last night it was raining and so he had to go roll up the windows on the car! He came back and said he was staying up, kinda dragged me outta bed went into the AC. I got to cold and tried to cuddle him, but I was under the blankets shivering. I got mad went upstairs he came in after me I started crying because I felt stupid for doing that, but instead of him going back downstairs like I told him too (because he was hot) he stayed up here kinda warm and snuggled me instead. Why did he do that instead of what I told him to do?
