Can't remember a toy name, clear purple goo?

It's been driving me crazy trying to remember this stuff. It was a clear-ish purple goo (may have been sparkly) that had a clear container shaped like a genie lamp, and it kind of smelled funky, I remember Mom hated it because of the smell. I had it in the mid/late 90's. I loved that stuff, and I can't find it. Anybody out there know what I'm thinking of? I'm desperate!
