In C: please give me a code or algorithm that sorts a singly linked-list using ONLY ONE AUXILLIARY POINTER?

This is pretty difficult for me to think of, trying every sort of algo for the past 2 weeks, it is easy if 2 or more are used but one, I can't figure it out. Please help me. Thanks..
