Talk white and school answer any one?

hi! im 13 and light skin and people say i talk white i dont understand what they mean is that a offence?in my school there is a crowd that are well kinda of bad the girls dont talk to me but the boys do but i ignore them only the good ones will talk to me why wont the girls?the black girls look at me mean. 2 girls was walking down the hallway and said "looking like a skittle "(i had all orange on)they was just lauging. im a nice person i dont like to argue. i basically let people run over me. how can i be nice but dont let them run over me?thanks bye!
