I am a cutie, right? ?

Whats the big deal with hypnosis shows? one is coming to my school and a lot of my friends are going to do it, but isn't it just like..volunteering to go on stage to go to sleep? Or is there more to it? Has anyone out there ever been to a hypnotist show and been hypnotized, or just seen a show? What's the big deal? Should I do it? I mean..I can sleep at home. Or is it just cool to have people pay to watch people sleep? I'm pretty when I'm sleeping..but come on
