Can anyone tell me if what happened was real?

The thing is, something happened to me as a child. I am so sure that it was real. I remember that i fell asleep smiling. However, it was so long ago and it may have been a lovely dream. Anyway, what i remember was being above my bed in the arms of someone. I remember feeling warm and safe, i felt so peaceful. I was then lowered on to my bed and lying there i saw floating above me, the most beautiful man i had ever seen. I can't even describe his features really. I remember that his skin illuminated, as though there was a light glowing within him and he was surrounded by a blue light. He was smiling at me and i smiled back and he said that i will be ok. I then watched his ascend then he was no longer there, i then fell asleep. Until recently, i had forgotten that moment. There was this doentary on tv about a psychic and her daughter developing her abilities. The daughter can heal and said that an angel stands either side of her when she does so. She said that they have a blue light.
