Camera vs Mirror??????????

i have a good camera not a dslr though its a nixon though.. anway in pictures my face especially jaw looks very asymetrical.. however, in the mirror i look almost perfect except the back of my jaw right around the on cuz i got my jaw broken there by a mugger in europe... but whats the real image of me like how do other people see me?? i know the mirror is backwards.. but i look waaaayyyy better in the mirror.. in pics i look bigger and my jaw looks bigger and the left side of my face is bigger.
