Birthcontrol and sperm.?

Yesterday was thanksgiving and not thinking because I have bronchitis I took an antibiotic but the day before on wednsday I had unprotected andhe d inside me but I am also on birthcontrol and take it pretty regularly and that was the first time with this man I have done this. I'm thinking I should be fine, but I just want others opinions or concerns and I've heard so many different facts like: "sperm takes an hour to reach the egg"-if that's the case then I'm fine. But then I heard it takes 24hrs hmm a little concerned because I do not know when I ovulate due to my period being 22 days long for my inconveinence of screwing up my birthcontrol but all is well and I've finished 2 whole packs and on my 3rd pack and have almost have almost gone through the first week of it.
